MAX VOLPERT

Max Volpert is a sound designer, writer, and artist based in Chicago and originally from Central Jersey. With a passion for the spectacular and a penchant for the dramatic, Max is constantly in pursuit of projects that will allow her to dive deep into fictional worlds, and work creatively to curate meticulous and exciting designs. From Star Wars to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Batman and Robin, Max often finds herself inspired by the fictional worlds around her, and excited to create work just as engaging.

JUSTIN CAVAZOS

Justin Cavazos is a Latino composer, producer, sound designer, and songwriter based in Chicago. His background as a musician and stage performer often blurs the lines between sound design and music composition, bringing an imaginative flair to his productions. Greatly inspired by video games, Justin finds a story in every melody, guitar riff, and sound effect from the intimate to the fantastical.

MIMI GUZMAN

Mimi (Michelle) Guzman is a Boston-based audio engineer, sound designer, and sound artist with a versatile background and an adventurous heart. Their work in sound design for film, TV, and podcasts teleports audiences into the mystical and unknown. Mimi cast away the viola so they could evolve into a multi-disciplinary maven, carefully crafting soundscapes and effects. Whether they are creating new sound design for audio dramas or mixing music, Mimi never fails in finding the magic in ordinary sounds.

COOPER JOSTIES

Cooper Josties is an audio engineer and technician originally from Virginia. Dedicated to quality sound and quality people, Cooper strives to make every environment he works in effective, efficient, and enjoyable for both the audience and the team. In addition to engaging audio, Cooper can often be found enjoying the absence of amplification while rock climbing, hiking, and being in nature. Whether it is at the sound console or out on mountainsides, Cooper is enthusiastic about any adventure life has in store.

TYRUS TUCKER

Tyrus is an audio engineer, editor, and technical audio designer based in Chicago, IL. Tyrus’s work is rooted in meticulously crafting dialogue for film, implementing sound for video games, and recording artists' music. He has edited dialogue and sound design for award-winning films and implemented sound in top-charting mobile games like American Farming. When Tyrus isn’t working he enjoys playing drums, documentary filmmaking, mixing vinyl, and hanging with his partner and 2 cats.
